Want to speak at an international tech conference? Israel On Stage can help you get there!

Israel on Stage CFP

There’s no shortage of talent in our Israeli tech industry - but there is a shortage of people like you submitting talks to global conferences.

That’s where Israel on Stage comes in - a volunteer-based initiative helping Israeli tech professionals find their voice and share their knowledge on international stages.

Here’s how it works - step by step:

1. Find the right conference for you: The website has an up-to-date list of open CFPs (Call For Papers) from conferences around the world — with deadlines, links, and descriptions.📌 Direct link: Open CFPs

Pro tip: Start with smaller conferences - less competition, higher chances.

2. Write a compelling talk proposal: The short pitch you submit to conferences is key to getting accepted as a speaker.

When writing CFP - what works?

  • A catchy, human-friendly title

  • Frame the problem, then your unique take or solution

  • Think about what the audience will take away from your talk

3. Join a hands-on speaking workshop: You don’t need to be a speaker - just open to learning:

4. Get real support from the community: Yes - there are mentors.Yes - you can send in drafts. Yes - your friends and your community genuinely want you to succeed. Join our Slack channel to join us - send a message to wixeng@wix.com

5. Get inspired by the blog Before submitting your talk: See how others did it. The Israel on Stage blog features stories from Israeli speakers who started just like you - no prior experience, just a good idea and a lot of curiosity. You’ll also find practical tips, examples of winning CFPs, and insights from those who’ve already stepped onto the stage.

6. Stay in the loop with the newsletter: Don’t miss out on new CFPs, upcoming workshops, success stories, and speaker tips. The Israel On Stage newsletter keeps you updated - straight to your inbox. Subscribe here

Bottom line: The road to the international stage starts with a small step. You don’t need to be a global expert - just someone with a story or insight worth sharing. And this project gives you the tools, the confidence, and the push to take that step.

So… maybe it’s time to go for it?
